Looking Back at 2020
2020 is finally over! It was a difficult year for so many, but I’m not going to dwell on that. For Bluebell Yarns it was my busiest year yet. I had planned to attend at least four shows during 2020 but obviously they were all cancelled. In the end I ended up doing lots of virtual shows instead, beginning with Virtual Wonderwool in April. I’m amazed at how well that went, and it paved the way for the rest of the year to be much better than I was expecting.
My British Yarn Selection Boxes proved to be a great hit, as did my Yarn Advent Calendars. I am so thankful that I was able to give up my part-time restaurant job in August to work on Bluebell Yarns full time. I couldn’t have done that without all my fantastic customers, so thank you everyone!
Looking Forward to 2021
While I imagine Bluebell yarns won’t be able to exhibit at any shows for a while, there are lots of things to look forward to in 2021. For the first time I am doing regular yarn clubs. I’m also planning more regular yarn updates, one-off special boxes and of course I’ll be continuing the series of British Yarn Selection Boxes.
