January Competition Winner

  • by

Using the wonderful random.org I’ve drawn the January competition winner to design your own colourway. The winner is… Evie, who contacted me via email: “Picture this countryside scene. Big round bales of golden yellow straw in a field, green hedgerows line the field and a cloudy grey sky above it….. Maybe with a wee bit of blue peeking through here and there. The Beginning of Bluebell Yarns

  • by

For the last few weeks I have been dyeing, skeining and generally playing with yarn. All that is because on the 24th August 2015, Bluebell Yarns is opening. I have been knitting for several  years now, and I’ve been trying to buy British yarn for a good portion of that. A few months ago I found out how superwash yarn is treated. I decided I didn’t like that, so then tried to buy yarn that hadn’t been treated, as well as… Read More »The Beginning of Bluebell Yarns
