A new pattern has been released today for members of the KNITSONIK Colour to Knit club. It’s the Cheers! Mitts pattern by Nolwenn Pensivy. I am honoured that Nolwenn chose to use one of my yarns, BFL 4ply in the colourway Wisteria, for one of the samples for her pattern. With her permission I’ve put together three kits that would be perfect to use in her pattern. Each kit contains a 50g skein of variegated yarn plus four 20g skeins… Read More »Cheers! Mitts Kits
It’s been another strange year and I feel like I’ve been in a bit of a limbo. I want to make a fresh start in 2022, which means I’ve been having a bit of a sort out. I have a fair amount of yarn which I’ve never gotten around to listing, plus lots of bits and pieces that I haven’t been entirely sure what to do with. On 2nd December at 7pm I will be listing everything I can find… Read More »End of Year Sale
I’m excited to announce that I have been working with Liz Corke to create a sock kit! She’s designed a wonderful pattern with my 100% Falkland Corriedale High Twist sock yarn in the Violet Shadows colourway. The kit contains a printed copy of the Stravaig sock pattern (a code for a digital download is available on request) plus a skein of Corriedale sock yarn in the colourway of your choice. You can also choose to add a set of stitch markers… Read More »First Sock Kit!
I’m happy to announce that for the latest yarn update, I’ve dyed some BFL/Masham Aran weight. The 4ply version of this 75% Bluefaced Leicester 25% Masham blend has always been fairly popular. The natural grey of the Masham combined with the softness of the BFL makes for a lovely soft yarn with a gorgeous depth of colour. Of course like all my yarn it hasn’t been superwash treated and contains no synthetic fibres. I decided to use semi-solid colours for… Read More »Yarn Update – BFL/Masham Aran
Later this month I’m going to be releasing my new no-nylon 100% Falkland Corriedale High Twist sock yarn. There are a few odd skeins available in the shop at the moment and I’ve used it in the Advent Calendars and Yarn Clubs but I’m yet to release for purchasing as individual skeins. I’ll be doing a full update with lots of fun new colourways. The new yarn takes dyes really wonderfully and I have some fantastic bright new colours which… Read More »10% off Corriedale/Mohair Sock Yarn!

This is the Deep Blue Sea range – seven colourways based around my popular ‘Deep Blue Sea’ colourway, plus underwater themed stitch markers. I have plans to expand this range, and use it as inspiration to create a few more ranges too!. Please let me… Read More »Deep Blue Sea – A new range of yarn and stitch markers

Wonderwool Roundup This weekend I exhibited at Wonderwool Wales. This was my first show and it was fantastic! I met so many lovely people, and received some wonderful comments about my yarn. The weather on Saturday was horrid and it was freezing in the halls, so thank you to everyone who braved the wind and rain to come out and visit! Luckily on Sunday the weather was much nicer so I think everyone had an even better time. As it… Read More »Post Wonderwool Shop Update
