“Grape”, a hand-dyed 90g skein of DK Dorset Horn wool yarn. This is a semi-solid yarn dyed purple.
This yarn is 100% British Dorset Horn. It is spun in Yorkshire and dyed in Dorset. Each 100g is approximately 300m in length. It is a slightly more ‘rustic’ yarn so those with sensitive skin may not be able to wear it next to their skin. It softens upon wearing. Dorset Horn is a robust yarn and is perfect for gloves and accessories.
The yarn has not been superwash treated so requires gentle hand washing unless you intend to create felt.
