Dark Nights Yarn Advent Calendar

The Dark Nights Yarn Advent Calendar is inspired by the dark, saturated colours of night and the points of brightness that lights in the city and countryside provide. The yarn will be dyed in a range of semi-solid, tonal and variegated colourways that will work well together but will not be planned or ordered as a fade. You can expect rich, saturated and jewel toned colourways, with some brighter colours on occasion.

Yarn Bases

The Dark Nights calendar is available on the following yarn bases:

• Bluefaced Leicester 4ply (~350m/100g)
• Bluefaced Leicester DK (~230m/100g)
• 40% Bluefaced Leicester, 40% Shetland & 20% Alpaca 4ply (~350m/100g)
• 40% Bluefaced Leicester, 40% Shetland & 20% Alpaca DK (~230m/100g)
• 40% Bluefaced Leicester, 40% Shetland & 20% Silk 4ply (~400m/100g)

Colourways appear differently on different yarn bases. The yarn bases containing alpaca are naturally grey so colourways will appear slightly more subdued compared to on the other yarn bases.

None of the bases are superwash treated so will need hand washing unless a felted result is intended. You can read more about this on the yarn care page.

Add-on

Alongside your mini-skeins you can choose to add on a full sized 100g skein which will be a semi-solid colourway dyed to complement the collection. For the BFL, Shetland & Silk blend this will be two 50g skeins as the yarn base is not available as 100g skeins.

Packaging

Each mini-skein will be individually wrapped and numbered. A low packaging option, where mini-skeins are not wrapped, is available with a small discount. This is ideal if you would like to fill your own Advent Calendar.

All packaging is easily recyclable and plastic free. The box the mini-skeins arrive in will be plain.

Shipping

The total price includes tracked UK shipping. International orders will be sent tracked and the cost of this will be calculated on checkout. Bluebell Yarns is not VAT registered so cannot remove VAT for international orders. Any fees, tarrifs or import duties to be paid are the responsibility of the customer.

The earliest I will begin posting is the 15th October, beginning with international orders. All fully paid orders will be posted by 14th November.

Please Note: I cannot currently ship into the EU or Northern Ireland. If the website allows you to place an order to a country I cannot currently ship to, I will unfortunately have to cancel and refund your order.

Payment Plan

A payment plan is available which splits the price into four payments, spaced a month apart. This option will be available until 31st July. Calendars will not be shipped until full payment has been received so if you are an international customer please consider shipping time when choosing this option.
