Japanese Maple – Texel Chunky

Japanese Maple is a hand-dyed 100g skein of chunky weight yarn. It is a variegated yarn red, orange and dark golden yellow. Japanese Maple is part of the Autumn Leaves collection.

The base yarn is 100% British Texel. It was prepared and spun in Yorkshire and dyed in Dorset. The yarn is warm and plump and perfect for winter accessories such as hats. It’s smooth and has good stitch definition. It can feel a little course to begin with but softens with wear and washing.

Each chunky weight 100g skein is approximately 100m in length.

The yarn has not been superwash treated so requires gentle hand washing unless you intend for it to felt. Due to the dyeing process no two skeins are identical.
