I sourced this yarn directly from Manx Loaghtan Produce. Located on the Isle of Man, Ballacosnahan Farm is home to a flock of over 900 sheep. The farm is run with a strong emphasis on farming for conservation and nature.

Manx Loaghtan sheep survive thanks to the dedication of a few enthusiasts. The wool is hard wearing yet fairly soft, with a natural rich brown colour. Many people can happily wear the wool next to their skin, however those who are sensitive to wool should test first.

Each DK weight 50g skein is approximately 110m in length.

The yarn has not been superwash treated so requires gentle hand washing unless you intend for it to felt. Due to the dyeing process no two skeins are identical.
