Nectarine is a hand-dyed 50g skein of laceweight yarn. It is a variegated yarn dyed pink and orange.
The base yarn is a blend of non-superwash 40% Devon Closewool, 40% Romney and 20% Exmoor Blueface, all sourced from the West Country. It was prepared and spun in Devon and dyed in Dorset. The yarn is naturally creamy white in colour. The three fibres used to create this blend combine to make a yarn with some wonderful characteristics. It has a warm, woolly feel and works well at both tight and loose gauge. It will block well for lace knitting but is also ideally suited for everyday wear. The halo adds a lovely full-bodied texture. The yarn has fairly good drape but will retain its shape.
Each laceweight 50g skein is approximately 275m in length.
The yarn has not been superwash treated so requires gentle hand washing unless you intend for it to felt. Due to the dyeing process no two skeins are identical.
Please note that while all efforts have been made to provide an accurate colour representation, colours may vary on different monitors and devices so the shade may not be identical to what you see on your screen.
