‘Crushed Raspberry’, a hand-dyed 100g skein of light DK Whitefaced Woodland wool yarn. This is a semi-solid yarn dyed raspberry pink. Due to the dyeing process no two skeins are identical so alternating skeins is suggested when working with more than one in a project.
This yarn is 100% British Whitefaced Woodland. It is spun in Yorkshire and dyed in Dorset. Each 100g skein is approximately 300m in length. Whitefaced Woodland is a fairly sturdy and robust wool. Most people will be able to wear it over another layer or on less sensitive skin, I wouldn’t recommend it necessarily for eg. scarves/shawls unless you’re used to a more woolly wool. It’s robustness makes it perfect for socks, sweaters, jackets, bags etc.
The yarn has not been superwash treated so requires gentle hand washing unless you intend to create felt.
Please note that colours may vary on computer monitors, so the shade may not be identical to what you see on your screen.
