Tamarisk Farm – Dorset Down DK

This yarn is extra from the second British Yarn Selection Box.

I sourced this yarn directly from Tamarisk Farm, which is an organic family farm based on the Jurrassic coast in Dorset. They have a varied flock of sheep with many breeds.

Dorset Down is a bright natural white and its plump, springy character makes it a joy to work with. It is suited well for sweaters, hats and mitts and is suitable for wearing next to the skin for those who are used to wearing wool.

Each DK weight 50g skein is approximately 110m in length.

The yarn has not been superwash treated so requires gentle hand washing unless you intend for it to felt. Due to the dyeing process no two skeins are identical.
