100g skein of Whitefaced Woodland Light DK yarn dyed semi-solid Maroon. This yarn contains 100% Whitefaced Woodland wool, was spun in Yorkshire and dyed in Dorset.
This Whitefaced Woodland Light DK has approximately 300m per 100g. It’s a robust, plump and lofty yarn that’s great for anything from socks to sweaters. While it’s not buttery soft it’s also not itchy and rough. I probably wouldn’t recommend it for neck wear unless you are used to this kind of yarn.
The yarn has not been superwash treated so requires gentle hand washing unless you intend to create felt. You can read more about how to care for your wool on the yarn care page.
Please note that colours may vary on computer monitors, so the shade may not be identical to what you see on your screen.
