This yarn is extra from the second British Yarn Selection Box.
I sourced this yarn directly from Godshill Park Farm, who have a flock of various breeds of sheep and some alpaca. Their farm is on the Isle of Wight and their Wight Grown Wool is only a small part of what they do.
As well as keeping sheep, Godshill Park Farm offers self catering accommodation, events & retreats, bed & breakfast and various other activies.
Borerary sheep are one of the rarest breeds of British sheep. They are a small, hardy breed and their wool reflects this. It is excellent for outerwear or accessories that won’t be worn next to the skin.
Each DK weight 50g skein is approximately 110m in length.
The yarn has not been superwash treated so requires gentle hand washing unless you intend for it to felt. Due to the dyeing process no two skeins are identical.
Please note that while all efforts have been made to provide an accurate colour representation, colours may vary on different monitors and devices so the shade may not be identical to what you see on your screen.
